ABOUT THE MOVIE

SYNOPSIS

In a relationship, there are only 2 positions. Either you’re somebody’s significant other or you’re somebody’s JUMP OFF. The movie’s about 6 Players with different types of game jumping from relationship to relationship until sex, lies and betrayal turns 2 friends against each other.

If you got a good jump shot you can play in the NBA. But if you got a good JUMP OFF, you could be a Player. Actor / Stuntman Derrick Simmons makes his Director’s Debut with a 90-minute, urban, romantic, comedy film he wrote, produced and played duo roles in called “JUMP OFFS”.

PLAYERS

Malik (2 timer All-Star Player) Malik has a nice all around game. He’s a good shooter when it comes to talking to the ladies. Monogamy is not one of his strong points. (Played by Derrick Simmons)

Oops (The Cheap Hustle Player) When he sees a woman he likes, he hustles for her quick. He’s not afraid of rejection because he knows the more shots you take, the better chance you have of scoring. He’ll hustle for anything except his wallet when it comes to paying the bill. (Played by Derrick Simmons)

Kenny (The Crossover Player) The Crossover Player is also known as an International player. Kenny’s crossover moves are impressive, but he has problems crossing back. Kenny only dates woman outside of his race. (Played by AJ Ekoku)

Ronnie (DL Player) DL stands for Down Low. He’s a different kind of player, playing a different type of game. He’s afraid to show the other players his Down Low moves, because he’s not sure if they’ll still let him play or call him for a foul and eject him from the game. (Played by Tim McAdams)

Jim Jim (The Defensive Player) The Defensive Player is a great liar. It’s hard for women to catch him in a lie because this is his specialty. (Played by Walter Nichols)

Bryant (The Rebound Player) He only dates women on the rebound. He hangs out under the rim waiting for another Player to miss a shot so he can grab the rebound and put it back in. (Played by Robert Parson)
